“Cheng asuba” or “kupshu” or “ahabi”, though it has different name with different places, but  it is known to all Manipuri people. It is one of the most popular snacks among Manipur people. Young or old all love to eat. It is totally oil free and very less time in making. It is readily available in the streets of Manipur.

	250 g - Rice grain
	5-6 - Ngari (Fermented Fish)
	2 tsp - Red Chili Powder
	4-5 leaves, chopped - Coriander leaves
	1, chopped - Spring Onion
	1 small sized cut into quarter - Cabbage

Directions

Heat a pan and dry roast the rice grain for few minutes until the color partially turned brown.

Take out the rice grain from the pan and let cool for a minute. Add the ngari, chili powder, salt with the roasted rice and mix together in a blender or grinder machine. It can be done by using a kitchen mortar.

Pour it to a bowl or plate and add spring onion, coriander leaves. Enjoy with the cabbage.
